It works like musical chairs... we just keep passing the babies around and around until the crying stops! And the half not holdin' a baby has to go warm up the bottles and serve the chonklit cake! (what kid can drink milk without chonklit cake??)

and if we dressed up as the Marx Brothers, we'd really look the parts!

Ella and Brooke... neato Larry.... It's been an experience getting back into the ol site. I had to surf around and I finally found the details on your new babes... Girls.... Kewl. Like the names also.


They say girls get in less troulbe than guys. I had the fortune of raising two boys. The oldest a non trouble maker. Into sports, ect, ect... In fact I don't even think he's ever had a parking ticket. My youngest son, is say. More like me.... So you can guess he's been a handfull... Lucky thing for that YOUTHFULL OFFENDER STATUS, or he'd be in sing sing, doing 25 to life. The good news he just turned 21, and has matured allot, and really straightened out his life....( lives on his own. has a nice girlfriend. They both have good jobs, ect... More independant, and appreciative of what me and his Mom have done to get him where he's at)

* that's kinda what I was getting at, on posting about my Great Niece. As like Zoee, they're angels now.... But hold on to your hat, when they hit that magic age. It used to be 16.... I think evelution, has it running around 12 now.... But they're all good kids. And generous to boot. Just look at all the grey hair, and they just let you HAVE IT.... For Free...LOL

Yeah, Sue's niece has two young girls... 5 and 2 yrs. She's always reminding me and Sue of what a trouble maker my younger son was growing up..... Always sorta putting him down.... As I tell my wife, I JUST CANNOT WAIT, till her girls turn that magic #...... In fact it give me cause to keep on living. I want to be old enough, to see the expression on her face, when she finds pot in the unerwear drawer... Or pulls up in a fast car, only to tell her Mom, he's just a friend. btw: I'll be home on time....

Ooooh, I love the Marx Brothers! I thought we just talked louder over the crying. By the end of Mommy and Me group on Thursdays all the babies are crying. They miss their naps so mommies can make it to the " Why don't you have a good cry yourself if you want" group. Pass the kleenex! Chonklit cake would make it perfect!

I think the Marx Brothers idea would fit in quite nicely with the just talk louder routine, though.

You could combine them! What if you dressed up like the Marx Brothers, held crying babies and sang the Bunny Wunny song really loud while you bounced them around and ran around in a circle? Harpo has to honk his horn after every time you sing the word "boat". Now that is something I would like to see! You could take over youtube with that! (Oh yeh, now that's what I'm talkin about....)

But, I also really like the "just turn up the Arlo louder" approach. It's all about the love, little babies....It's all about the love.
