well...i'm not quite sure where to start..so i'll start with a brief outline..and work from there as time permits.....lol

a) for as long as i can remember my 'dream car' has been a '67 mustang.

b) everything is arlo's fault (and this is no exception)

c) snow in mid may is a good omen when going to look at a car (so is seeing arlo at west point even if they do have guns!)

d) it's always good to have friends with trailers

e) introducing martha pickles... http://www.worldzone.net/internet/salzer/sherry/mustang.html

and while i'm here...happpy memorial day weekend to you all!

Cool! I love those old Mustangs. My friends brother used to have a red 66 one. I ordered a red 66 model of one from Ford thru the mail in 66. Still have it. I used to have an 82 one. It would cut off at intersections sometimes LOL! I liked the older ones better. Enjoy!

I dunno Sherry , I kinda had you pegged for a VW Microbus.....but not a red one, a flower power deadhead model! <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/looney.gif" width=15 height=15>

howdy folks! thanks for the good wishes...

i've been having aol problems and have not been able to post....though i've 'typed' the response more than once....you have to love aol....

let's see....in no particular order...she's straight 6 under the hood..so not much 'get up and go'...but that should keep me out of trouble (especially since i have to adjust to not having power brakes!)....and i am trying to keep her as original is i can and restore her to as close to original as i can.

ken already has (from before we were together) a 67 vw microbus...(and it happens to be green too!) so we already had that covered! (now we want a 67 indian to round out the vehicles)...

i have never been a fan of red cars...sorry arnie...so i'm happy she isnt red...and i'm starting to really enjoy the pickle green...it's different...and you all know how i feel about being 'different'!

i'll get another photo up in the near future...just another 'angle'...but bear with me...i'm in love!

i got to drive her already....dennis is a great mechanic..he 'looks' at cars and they fix themselves and then start running at a mere glance from the master! he is so amazing...and i am SO lucky! i think he's as excited about this car as i am (he's had 2 older mustangs many years ago)

i'm hoping to bring her to a body shop (mustang specialists) before we leave town...

and i guess that's the news....

oh yeah..one more thing..i have a friend who didnt 'care' for her name..so he decided to have a contest..so if you want to enter any names ...feel free....LOL

thanks again for the good wishes and the indulgence in my new toy!
