Hi everyone,
Just checking in with my buddies on Arlo Net. Jody and I haven't been around or online too much during the past six months but we have a joyful reason why: after being married for 15 years we are pregnant with our first child. Doctor assures us baby has all her working parts and chromosomes (you see I am an old bird, so we had Amnio). She will be named Anna Grace, and is due 10-10 so there goes the Fall Festival at the church, dagnabbit!

Anna was my great grandmother, who lived to be 98 and was a big inspiration to me as a strong woman who could tough out anything life threw her way. Grace is for the grace of God that gets us through each day, especially after September 11th. Jody like to call Anna 'Amazing Grace', because we are
awed by her even though she's not born yet!

Hope you all are doing well and after Anna Grace comes along, we will eventually get back in the saddle and see you all in person again.

what wonderful news! congrats to you and jody! it doesn't matter how good the fall gigs might be, having a baby definitely trumps that! btw...my birthday is 10/10...it's a good day to be born. <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/smile.gif" width=15 height=15> tell jody he has to get online and let us know when anna grace makes her entrance into the world...we'll be waiting!

It's a great birthdate! My firstborn is a 10/10 baby. He's 18 now. Weighing in at 5# 2 oz and being born at 5:02 AM just made my sister's lottery playing SO easy LOL... she bet 1010 and 502 and... lost.

Congratulations! That's the best news I've heard in a while. Best wishes for all of you and I hope we'll see you and Anna at a gig, maybe next spring or something.
