Hi, Friends!

This is a happy/sad occasion, and I know you will come to the rescue! A very good friend and valued co-worker is moving away. She and her husband are moving out of state to be near their daughter and grandchildren. This is the lady who re-introduced me to Arlo and his music, and ultimately led me to all of you wonderful friends--so...if you could just post a little something wishing her well, I'd love to give this to her as a going-away present. Her name is Carol and she is a terrific lady. Thanks in advance.

Dear Carol,

While it is true, I do not know you, I do know your friend and mine Pat.

I do wish you every happyness in your new location and I would like to remind you that there must always be a parting before we can reunite.

I find that when we go somewhere new it gives us a means to reinvent ourselves, it gives us also the means to maintain our friendships and loved ones by way of letters, cards telephoe calls and e-mails.

In the words of Roy Rogers, "Happy Trails to You, Until we meet again"

Yours
Nathen

Carol,
I am sorry you and Pat are losing daily, 3-d contact with each other, but as Nathen said, contact with friends is so much easier now, and I'm sure your friendship is just shifting to a different context. I wish you well in your move, and want to thank you so much for showing Pat the way to arlo.net. After you're settled in, perhaps we'll see you around here some, too...??

Carol,

As Pat said, it's a happy/sad time.

I'll echo what Ceas said and add my hope that you join us all after your move.

And by the way, thanks for reintroducing Pat to Arlo (I was "reintroduced" by Ceashel ). We love Arlo and his family and Pat and the rest of the weird bunch on the Group W bench.

Good luck and happy trails!

Pam

Maybe since Carol got Pat hooked on this place and this group of people, Pat got so weird that Carol just had to move away????

LOL @ Pat...

Carol, I know that you are going to love being near your family... grandkids are the BEST... just ask Arlo!

I'm certainly glad that you showed Pat the way to Blunderland, and hope to see you here too, once you get settled...

It's good to have friends and family all over the place too... it helps give perspective to our lives...

I wish you a safe and happy transition to your new place.

Peace, Love, Music & (((HUGS)))

well, i guess if Carol is givin' pat her forwarding address, she can't be TOO afraid of all the weirdness...

but if the new neighbor moves out within a couple of months, you might wanna consider taking down the neon "Blunderite Lives Here" sign over your house pat! Ya know, sometimes discretion is the better part of blundering...

or not...

Hi, Carol!

I laugh every time I think about it and I would've paid good money to have seen when you and Pat tried to successfully conquer the famous package opening challenge! Pat mentions your name in practically every email she's sent me! Thanks for being her Arlonian mentor and very close dear friend. Lots of positive Blunderish things have happened since you showed Pat the Blundering Way.

Take care and Best wishes in your new environment!

Levi

Thank you all, so much for your friendship and caring posts. I printed them out for Carol, after I made her read them online. Carol and Bob are in the midst of their move. We did sign Carol up on Arlonet, and she will post her own thanks when things settle down a bit for them. I will see her and work with her at least one more time.

She was very touched, and impressed that a group of people she didn't know would reach out to her like that. You'll be seeing her in the near future, and thanks again! You're the best!

Merry Everything. To you both. I'm sort of late of the draw, but hopefully we'll hear from Carol. This post just reminds me, of just how many people can get together outta one thing. Like Arlo & his music are the link, but I've seen friendships blossom that far outway the thinkable. And it's cool that things can literally be 'that' intence. I've made some friends here for sure. Some I know I'm destined to see again. Some maybe not. Regardless I surely wouldn't have made this great a wave lenght if not for the internet, and finding out, there' people out there just like me.

Kinda scary, but refreshing at the same time.

Sunny Blundevibes on the way Carol from

It meant so much to me that all of you responded to this post with such friendship, even though you don't know me. Thank you for all your caring, encouraging and supportive thoughts. I will write more when we are settled in our new home. Happy January!
