Pat, You have no idea how much I would like to make this show but it's just not possible. It should be a spectacular event in a great venue. Have a great time and I'll look forward to reading your review on these boards..

I agree with JC. I wish I could see Nashville again, especially for such a nice occasion. Please be our eyes and ears and have a wonderful time.

John & Reg,
My pleasure--glad you got it OK, and glad you like it!! It was a terrific concert, and I'm still awed by how many people Woody influenced, and continues to influence with his all-too-short life. I bought a copy of "Bound for Glory" and I'm about halfway through it. Wonderful stuff.

Pat, I had an opportunity to talk to Nora Guthrie the other night and I expressed how much I would have liked to attend the Nashville show. She said the show was recorded and may soon be available as a cd or dvd. Can't wait...

Thanks for the info! If they put it out on DVD I hope they have it on VHS too. Cuz most of us don't have DVD's...

Yep, I got the same information from Michael Smith in the Woody Guthrie Archives office--he said it was in the pre-pre-pre-planning stages. The sound track would be terrific!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
