A Birthday

Today is someone’s birthday, or is it? To be your birthday today you would have to be born today, right? So all of these people celebrating their “birthday” today are doing it under false pretenses!

Of course, today is the First Day of the rest of your life, and that is something worth celebrating whether you were born today or not! Life itself is very precious, but as it is with human nature we have a tendency to take for granted things we already posses. But we don’t really possess life; we are only allowed to try it on for a short while.

So for those of you who understand where my brain cell is going with this thought, Enjoy this first day of your life, use it as if it may be your last, and don’t worry about tomorrow, it will come in good time.

Question: Does the baker to blunderites have to bake her own chonklit cake (or cookies or moose)?

The happiest of happy birthdays to you!! The Blunderite quilt will indeed have a Chonklit Cake square in it! I found the neatest fabric for the background and a nice rich chonklit-y brown for the cake.
