hello to some old friends! i haven't been around in quite a while but i wanted to share some wonderful news with some of you who i haven't been in touch with...the smurf and ed are parents!

tyler garret rodriguez was born at 9:29 PM on October 28th. he weighed 8 pounds 3 ounces and was 21 inches long. sara and tyler were released saturday afternoon and have now spent their fist night at home with daddy...and let me tell you it was one interesting night! <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/smile.gif" width=15 height=15>

but everyone is healthy and happy and glad to be home!

Great news! Congratulations to the new mom and dad, and grandma too. I'll bet the boys are just loving being uncles! Post or email pics when you can.

Congratulations to momma smrf & poppa smrf and the rest of the family. So, does little Tyler have the makings of a future drummer or perhaps even a bus driver? Keep in touch, fitzy... us grandparents gots'ta stick together ya know!

Thanks so much for all the wishes from those that posted. It is so nice to know that just because I dont post much here I am still remembered by some even though I havent "met" you in person.
We are both doing great, I forget what sleep is though but enjoying my son like nothing I could ever imagine. Thank God I have my mom here to help and I am not sure what I am going to do when (if) she leaves.
Levi, No bus driver I don't think Dennis would allow that. And not sure about drummer I might not allow that but Daddy would love it.

I again want to say thanks to the people that posted but thought it was funny that Dave posts on here how he is going to be a dad and all the controversy surronding that and 17 people post. There was no controversy and 6 people could post here, with 93 views. Wow, it's nice we don't let people affect how we think.
