We've just managed to get hold of a VW micro bus of our very own. Needs a bit of work doing to to it but all in all it's in good nick, concidering it's 30 next week.

I've allready dicided that its going to be Purple with a Sun on the front with a C.N.D logo in the middle, and Alan wants a Frank Zappa tash round the number plates. We still haven't fully made up our minds just how we are going to do the inside, but we are haveing fun thinking of things to do with it.

Only we can't think of anything to call it. We can't even come up with any 'maybe's'.

So if any of you has any thoughts we'd concider them.

Thanks
ME & Alan

Congratulations on your "new" VW microbus. As long time fans of volkswagens (and owners of two) Ceashel and I would love to give you input. Do send pictures.

Beverley, you brought good memories to the surface for me. A purple microbus...perfect for the purple poet! I had a purple microbus in 1970, when I lived in Colorado. It had a pancake Porsche engine and it took those mountain roads like a dream. Can't remember its name, though I know it had one. (Can't remember a lot of 1970.) Later, Jay had a VW bus named Ellery. We miss him a lot. It's too early in the a.m. for all my pistons to be firing, but when/if I thing of name candidates, I'll pass them along. Woo-hoo!!! Can't wait to see pix!

Paint it red and fill it with garbage and implements of destruction. That's what I'd do!

Urge was the name of the microbus in the story on every other page of the "Last Whole Earth Catalog".

Since it needs to be all things to all people, how about OMNI-BUS?

I finally got new wheels myself--a Subaru Impreza that I've been eyeing for years!! (No, guys, I didn't get the WRX-7,) it's just a li'l ole librarian sedan.

PS Beverly,
Yes, I DID get your lovely package quite awhile ago. I did send you an email (much later than I should have, but I don't know if the address was right) I'll put a letter in the mail to you soon!
