Hello folks. I had the honor of working at The Main Point during college. Saw some of the greatest shows of my life.

Jeanette Campbell was the owner and she recently passed.

If anyone here was a customer, co-worker give me a holler.

I lived down the road from The Main Point and did manage to see Tom Rush and Arlo there. Father Guido Sarducci opened for Arlo. Those are all I can remember, tho.

I always wanted to go there. One of my favorite live CD's, by one of my favorite singer/songwriters, John Flynn, was recorded there.

Which one? I have several, but Dragon was in the "stolen" collection :( He's doing his annual charity show on Friday, down the road from where I used to live... was hoping Lance could take Michael (he became friends with John's youngest), but they'll probably have to drive up to IUP to bring Eric (#1 son) home for Christmas break.

That one I have in the house. I love Susie Queen of E-Mail and Michael loves Fat Naked Angles.

Wow, one of my favorite memories of my mom was the night probly around 1980 or so. It was a Saturday night and we were bored so she actually came up with the idea of hopping on the train and going there. I think we saw Tim Brittton and Mick Moloney but I could be wrong. Just a teenage girl and mom oddly wonderful night.
Also remember Saul Broudy there and wishing I could go when Jackson Browne appeared.

Hi, it's been years since I've been to Bryn Mawr, but do remember the original Main Point well. I haven't been able to find anyone who was there in the 66-68 time frame. I can only remember a few acts we saw, but they included the Jim Kweskin Jug Band, Michael Cooney, Eric Andersen (I think), possibly Tom Rush - and I know there are many more. I'd be happy to see a post of anyone remembering some of the acts from the late '60s. Thanks.
