There was a Blunderite called Larry
Whom of Vegemite is particularly wary
Along with his backhalf he makes us all laugh
When Shrub makes our world really scary

I hope to meet him one day
Alas for now he's too far away
But one day when I roam
To the land I also call home
We'll meet at the Church and be merry

HAPPY BIRTHAY LARRY

From Deb Louise DownUnder in the land of OZ (and Vegemite)

And will you be serving Guinness all day?

Happy Birthday, Larry! I started celebrating your birthday early, and already ate half of a wonderful black forest cherry cake cupcake--last night, not this morning. Maybe I'll have the other half for breakfast, instead of my fruit, yogurt, and granola. Or not. But have a great day!

Everybody was asking me what possesssed me to actually bake chonclit cake from scratch last night. I thought I was just in a mood or something. Here I must've actually been possessed by blundervibes. Happy Birthday Larry!

Geez Louise, ya had to mention vegemite, didn't ya! :)
You know I think it was march 31st in Australia before it was march 31st here in the states, so I was 50 in Australia before I was 50 in the states and I've never even been to Australia. It is amazing the powers I have sometimes, huh?

In preparation for my new found "senior years" status, I have done a few things to aid the transition.

1) I have removed the bulbs from the directional signals in my car, so I won't end up driving 10 miles down the road with my right turn signal flashing.
2)I have placed spare keys and reading glasses on every piece of furniture and in every drawyer in the house.
3)I have sent for copies of senior blue plate early bird special menus from all area restaurants, for old people that think you should eat dinner at 4:00 in the afternoon.
4) I repeated things 1 through 3 because I forgot doing them the first time.

Thanks for the wishes! (and the poetry...... I think)
