I didn't think this 'fit' in Legends, but didn't want this to go unmarked:

Those of us who grew up in the '50s and '60s probably watched his show, in which he used ordinary household items to teach about many aspects of science.

Rest well, Mr. Wizard.

Absolutely he fits in "Legends." We loved Mr. Wizard. And then in a few years when we needed to understand how to use normal household items and chemicals to ... well, you know. Mr. Wizard never let us down.

I saw that on tv. I've heard of him but not sure if I ever watched him or not. If so it was along time ago. Rip...

We always loved the way so many of his experiments would go wrong and how annoyed at the kids he would get. There's no such honesty on tv today.

THANK GAWD!! Leave it to you Wyld. I have been whinning for two days now about Mr. Wizard...and no one here knows about him...I described him as a Mr. Rogers who did science experiments. NO reaction. John was sure I was making it up... AAAHA! He has to believe me now!! (I think)

Don't get me wrong, I loved the show (the original) and probably learned all sorts of neat stuff, comparable to when I recently learned about droping Mentos in a bottle of coke... but didn't you wonder why this guy was allowed to be ALONE with those young kids... and he had a predilictilon for only kids under 13! hmmmmmmmm....

Well, I'll miss good ol' Don, but i wonder who misses those poor kids!
