so then i read about the condiment thing...and i am like, hmmmm...

kind of makes me laugh...i suppose

I got to be honest here, I don't really like arugula! And, I like my salad to crunch when I eat it...a nice fresh crunch with cilantro and peppers!

but noooo!!, if we don't put ketchup on it we are pompous asses?

Digressing sounds like we're doing something bad. These threads are like journeys......the path(s) they take transverse many different terrains of the head and the heart......I encounter lots of wonders, exchange ideas and information with nice folks who make me laugh and smile a bunch more than I probably would otherwise. Lots of great music rings through these pages too, but I....uh, digress......

well it is no substitute!, but i went and made some jalapeno cornbread
...and some blackeyed peas...and some salad...that girl who would eat limburger cheese and get within inches of your face and talk profusely about nothing til you were twitching and tearing up just for a laugh...she is how i know about cilantro! (she was pretty good at playing piano too)
i looked at a couple of recipes...my dad says hoecakes are best if you use buttermilk so i used buttermilk instead of regular milk
i didn't want to get cocky but i think i could have put more jalapenos in ...still , i think i won't put my finger in my eye for at least a week!

it isn't half bad!
