Well it is 40 years since goodtime Charlie exploded in his weekend of terror so I thought I would post his hit song. I believe it was Patricia Krenwinkle said once that she could not remember charlie eating acid when everybody else did. Of course he was educated in prison where domination and manipulation are the name of the game. In retrospect, the murders themselves were not nearly as scary as the demonstration of domination and control that charlie left in the wake. Anyway, Charlie's lyrics on his hit song are interesting enough? (charlie's original version is called cease to exist if you have not heard it before)

i think both things are very bad! but i can understand the importance of not obscuring the significance of the latter!

Charlie demonstrated what can be done with very young adults and kids during a time of heightened susceptibility to the old I'm A Master con.

Today that generation is us and you can't get us to believe a public health care system is a good thing without shouting and then we just shout back.

As for kids today, shouting won't help or hurt. They aren't listening to us. Why should they? We're old. How could we possibly understand anything worth knowing?

Not listening to "us" doesn't make them smarter, anymore than knowing how to use a computer makes them any smarter. Don't get me wrong......kids in general are very smart, but I don't believe that their technological prowess makes up for not knowing how to go outside and play and have a good time without TV and video games......

True. Unless I (we?) approach it from the perspective that there are a number of adults who have never "grown up", and behave "childishly". A perfect example is our ex-president......

This is the first Manson song I ever heard, they played on KGOU one night when I was working in the lab late late back in the 80's on a show called fear of music.

Iseems odd to me all the hoopla about Manson and what he represents because if annything he has always been honest about that. "I am nobody!" His lyrics and interviews are just too entertaining is the problem!

When it comes down to the reality of society, domination etc etc etc it just speaks volumes. The thing that always amazes me is that people under the influence of these cult figures always say the same thing in their retrospect of barbarism...they always say...I didn't feel a thing...I have heard interviews from the guards of Pol Pot and Idi and Adolf in those barbed wire camps and they always say...at the time, I didn't feel a thing....only part of the time do you sense remorse in these interviews and that is basically because they didn't feel a thing I suppose?

oh well, enough of the dark side, there is plenty of light around..surely?

Since guns are back in fashion I thought I would post this memory of Guns in America! This looks like as good a place as any!

in the song it says a rumour about a tumor...which they didn't find at all (?) (i think it said something along those lines?)

i read (famous words) that there actually was a tumor (?) that may have been a contributing factor? (just a discrepency there) anyway...how, and what other things may have contributed together to form a frame of reference, one might wonder (this is the first i have heard of this in particular, and pardon my ignorance)... another thing i read is that (in a decision, and always disturbing to think) he "removed" two of his loved ones from this world...to launch them surely to a better place (heaven). i am guessing, that regardless of any possible religious affiliation...the "loved ones" may have been in favour of procrastination at this point! another thought...not all who endure atrocities (survivors of the holocaust, example) become murderous. and war veterens (a different vantage point?)...still, wounded on many levels (still destructive)

anyway, just a few (open ended perhaps?) thoughts. (sorry if they are scattered)
