Well, I'm in Pampa Texas and the October weekend is also the weekend of our Woody Guthrie Tribute. So we will very much be there in spirit. I think it would be great if one of these years we could get some kind of link between the two places. It's going to be exciting, though, knowing we are united in spirit.

Incidentally, this year will be a first for us on Thanksgiving. Inspired by Arlo's Thanksgiving Carnegie Hall concert, we're going to have our own Thanksgiving hootenanny. We're calling it "Gobblers, Gospel, and Guthrie", and the game plan is to assist with delivering Meals on Wheels for Thanksgiving with the local Salvation Army, then retiring to the Center, housed in the Harris drugstore (where Woody learned to play guitar) for our own dinner (open to all who wander in) where we'll play until we wear our fingers down. So, again, on Thanksgiving, we'll be united in spirit.

I'm excited to see everything that's going on in keeping the legacies of Woody and Arlo alive.

Txrambler, it's so great that Pampa and Okemah honor Woody; it was not always so. I hate that we can't be two places at once. Celery time just kicks in when IT wants to, and the Tardis doesn't always show up when you need it.
