I think it would be kinda fun to go to SF and send George a little honorarium with a flush...

A good question to pose to the authorities on the subject, Folk Uke, would be "if shit makes the flowers grow, why is the garden of eden not to be found between george w. bush's ears?

The sewer plant is a great idea of course, but why not make his future presidential library like a big restroom? I mean I'm kinda sure the only place he reads is on the porcelain throne anyway.

It would be amusing...they found a copy of "Alice's Restaurant" in Nixon's library... what if they find a stack of Archie and Jughead comics in Bush's bathroom when he moves out of the White House?

I was thinking it more likely that they might find copies of " Modern Sheep Rancher", and the pages would be stuck together.

That petition is going to be on the ballot. It just got approved. I heard they plan to send out a combined flush from all over the city.

Woo-hoo!!! National coverage; check it out. This came from the committee this morning:

It seems our initiative is continuing to reverberate around the echo chamber. CNN is airing this piece today, with heavy rotation on Headline News. It's a good spot, and Willie Brown gives it a thumbs up.

Enjoy...

Here's a creative challenge--if anyone can win a haiku contest, is this group! Got this from the committee today:

Hi everyone,

Now that we're officially on the ballot, we're preparing our arguments for the San Francisco voter guide. We thought it would be fun to host a writing competition for the closing argument and rebuttal section, and that a haiku would be a most appropriate way to sum up our initiative.

So, spread the word and tell your arty friends. Submissions are due in by next Monday at 5pm and should be in haiku format. The winning entry will be featured as the rebuttal in the soon to be collector's edition of the official voter guide.

Also, if you want to submit paid arguments, go to http://www.sfelections.org to fetch a copy of the ballot arguments guide.

Have fun and thanks again for your support!

TWP
