The problem is that in his quest to get everyone to like us, he is bowing down to the terrorists etc. I can understand him wanting to be diplomatic & getting other countries to like us but he has forgotten 9/11. Hey Wiz, ya oughta run for Prez next time. You'll get my vote...

I can't recall that bowing down to terrorism incident. He (Obama that is) was very adamant that America will no longer be a terrorist nation!

Where do you get off telling a Muslim country that the United States does not consider itself a Christian country? Have you not read the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution of the United States? This country was founded on Judeo-Christian ethics and the principles governing this country, at least until you came along, come directly from this heritage. Do you not understand this?

Why atheism is the only viable alternative for the future!

Yep! And treaties were broken, land stolen and ravaged, species eradicated or nearly so, genocide committed or nearly so, people enslaved, several forced death marches overseen, peaceful communities/tribes of people murdered/raped/obliterated/relocated, not to mention forced "re-education" and religious conversion, murder and execution of people for no other reason than their ethnic origins, and more, all coming directly from the heritage of the good folks and their Judeo-Christian ethics who "founded" this country and its governing principles.

Achtung, baby!

Please be aware that your views, however strongly held, are the minority views in this country, although if one spends too much time listening to talk radio, one could be duped into thinking ALL of America holds these views.

And if one was to go by reading these forums too often or watching TV news, one could be duped into thinking that Obama is the second coming. :D

I gotta agree with them, Dave. The last election wasn't a party election. Those numbers only happen when the community that speaks is very large and diverse but in agreement: new leadership for new times. Until the right accepts that, they will be left. No laughtrack.

Did you not hear the bit on Howard Stern? The one where he interviewed blacks asking them how they felt about Obama's position on the issues (only he attributed McCain's position to Obama instead) and they wholeheartedly agreed. Classic fucking comedy.

You get "those numbers" when the American public is poorly informed (TV news and the print media) or more than half the population is too brain-dead to foresee what is going to happen (however they can increase their intelligence by realizing the fact that they've been duped).

The funny thing is I've met a few MENSA members in my lifetime, and while they may be book-smart, most of them don't have a lick of common sense to their name. Wait, that sounds familiar, was Obama ever a MENSA member?

:D :D :D :D :D

Kinda makes one wonder if the right wing Bushies are more upset that Bush was a complete failure, or if they are more upset that Obama might suceed? Childish playground bullies that they are.

Ok Dave. Adopted little brother or not, it's time to throw down.

I challenge you to a no holds barred tag team cage match, pitting You, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter and Karl Rove against Me, Pee Wee Herman, Dr. Stephan Hawking and the Mayor of Munchkinland.

I think we are gunna kick ass!! :D
