Everyone farts.

The Californians have a historically endless supply of fun with their laws when they just have to do something about something.

Who knew Cali put the world’s “most famous Negro cornetist” in jail for his association with “muggles”?

Now we know: Hogwarts is in Marin.

Actually, there is no fetish or cross dressing in my case. I forget the exact genesis of the pink tutu, but it happened some years ago when I was playing hockey and somebody here on Arlonet equated my hockey playing with figure skating and wondered how a 250 pound defenseman might look in a pink tutu.Being a good sport and not willing to let a comedic opportunity go unused, I ran with it.Of course this story does not apply in any way to my frilly pink nightie. :D

I remember a beloved Folkslinger talking about little mooses prancing around in pink tutus at the 2000 Hampton VA show...he knew everyone in the front row, and I was front center. We (Laura and I ) were laughing so hard at the thought of prancing mooses in tutus, the folkslinger couldn't stop laughing, either...and I got pointed at and told to "Stop that laughing, right NOW!!!" which made us laugh even more...!!

Now, a 250 pound defenseman in a tutu slipping around on the ice would be worth laughing at, too...!!

And Larry...it's really nobody's business what you wear to bed...frilly or not!

As long as Moose and Squirrel don't want to be married, it won't matter what they wear. Frostbite Falls just ain't the party town it was in the days when all of the nogudniks were badenov.

Since it is a lawn concert and I'm way in the back, I don't think my tutu will get youwho's attention anyway. So I'm back to a mask and a hearty Hi Ho Slinger!

My onc will beat on me for this trip but life is too short not to revisit my inner arlo.

We're taking the video camera. Being an outdoor lawn concert, pix may be dicey but we'll take a 'shot' at 'im.... ummm... of 'im.
Meanwhile, off today for treatment four. So far still hair. Yesterday was a CAT scan. Why do GE scanners all sound like the flying saucers from the 1950s?

Breathe. Please HOLD your breath. Breathe.

I lay there wondering if all the attendants are grays and this is an alien plot.

Then I come back to work, the servers are down, the customers are hollering, the IT guys are shrugging their shoulders and I know: this IS reality. How dull!!

Where is my Wayback Machine, Sherman?

I hope you are better soon len. Now I sort of understand the face mask thing. Maybe the sound from the scanner is to make us think it's Really working.

Yes, they are aliens, and soylent green is PEOPLE!

It's only dull if you forget that they are the Department of Magical Elves.

Well, that explains why all my managers at GE had those big buggy eyes.

Thanks Cheryl. I'm doing quite well and so far still have hair although the treatments that pop follicles are just starting. It's ok. I'll grow better grayer hair and my eyes will bug out and .... oops. My secret is out.

But yes, the problem is chemo flattens the immune system and one can't be out in public. So I'm living a pretty dull life. OTOH, that is why I'm getting a lot of recording and video work done, have time for these lists, etc. It's a risk to go to the concert but since it is outside, that reduces the risk and if I am careful, wear the mask, etc., it's going to be a great night under the stars listening to Arlo and the ASO. I'm really looking forward to it.

Gotta go. IVs waiting.

I hope you have a wonderful time, len! I've been to a few Arlo symphony shows, and they're pure magic! What a treat for the ears!
