Maybe that's another reason why the public option would be a good idea or the single payer, government run health care system would be an even better idea, both of which Republican and moderate Democrat Congress members are against. Or it could just be another scary line of bull crap to try to keep any health care reform from happening.

I agree w3ith ya on the fines. I don't opposed the govt healthcare if it is done right & patients aren't denied care & they take the conservatives in consideration when they do it. But sadly they will probably do it wrong & have folks who need healthcare getting denied it cuz they have to wait.

I'm not nuts about Obama but I voted for him. I couldn't vote for Man who made fun of WAR with a Beach Boy Song. What I don't like is the Prez. did what he said he would do in Pakistan... Now if Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul were on the same ticket we would have been better off.

True and significant Mikey. While it's not been an easy ride, all signs of a positive economic turnaround point to the conclusion that Obama's efforts in that area are slowly but steadily bearing fruit. A fair and humane health care reform will, I believe, add to and enhance our nation's well being even further. I think that anyone who opposes quality and affordable health care for underpriviledged human beings is just down-right mean!!!

In this society that thrives upon instant gratification, having approval ratings anywhere near or above 50% is amazing in and of itself.
