Just saw it in IMAX 3D- worked for me...go with the flow for 3D viewing pleasure.
Yes, I remember the Emerald Forest too. The message is similar- listen to the indigenous way of life. The native world view has something to offer.
Another similar message is Mutant Message Down Under- a fictional story.
Storytellers, like Arlo, spin wonderful tales- with dreamlike qualities and social message.
The salvation of the wild places is the salvation of humanity.

I've seen it in 3D. It was a good movie, though I'm not raving about it. I didn't like how the story was too predictable. Then again, I've to keep in mind that it is a blockbuster film so it was made so that the people watching it wouldn't be disappointed.
