now, the la brea tar pits: that's sumthin'. i'd like to see that sight/site myself.
81st st was back in the winter that john lennon was shot. i'd been in mexico, and decided it was definitely time to come home, when that happened. a really long time ago, now.
maybe we could plan a blunder-zoo-promenade sometime, among those who wish to make the trip. i'd be up for something like that.
another great place to go in dc is the national arboretum. (especially at night, when it's closed to the general public. heh, heh.)

Me, too! Me, too!

I've only been to NY twice, and both were work-related trips, so didn't get to see/do much of anything. I'd be the perfect hick kid and not only do I "WOW" well, I can "WOWEEE!" if it's called for. But I won't if it embarasses anyone.

I heard that the whole bad blood thing between Paul and Art stemmed from Paul getting Art pregnant, and not doing the right thing. I could be wrong, it's just what I heard.

If there's an extra space, I'd like to come too (whine, whine). I've never been to New York (poor, pitiful me) or LA. I'll try to not be too obvious. (How 'bout if I promise not to stand outside Today's studios squealing and carrying a big sign.)

oh, boy! a blunderland field trip! yeh-yuh! let's doot! let's doot!
and definitely, i'm all for not standing outside the Today show with a big sign and squealing (although if anyone else would like to, they're more than welcome to the experience). the planetarium sounds great, and the bronx zoo (in late spring perhaps, when all the new zoo-babies are out for the first time? that would give me time to save up, budget -- all that -- too.)
can we dad-of-the-world? i never really grew up all the way, so i can do great kid. honest.

Muffy, you ain't gunna believe this, but I was trying to get a blunderite field trip together a while back for some of the "local" NY-NJ-PA gang for, of all places....Woodstock NY. I guess you might be able to make that one! We did a blunder trip in April 2000 to The Museum of the City of New York to see a Woody exibit. A bunch of folks came down from the Guthrie Center by bus, and a bunch more of us met them there. It was a nice day to be sure.

yeah, larry. i bet i could make the woodstock field trip at that. heck: i could even be the tour guide. howsomever, now that i have wheels and get great mileage, i can actually go places and do things. so feel free to plan field trips for anywhere, anytime. i'll be there.

i'm liking the idea of a late spring gathering in nyc. it's got possibilities. plenty of time for planning, that's for sure.
