I'm not to sure about the title of this thread. "Todd's Place". I mean to me at least, Todd is not so much a place, as he is a state of mind. Ya know what I'm sayin'?

you mean, like dimentia, or euphoria, Larry??, or, maybe, like selective obliviosity, just that Todd's selectivity is tuned, finer, than most of us, I think... but, that may be the problem, right there...thinking, about how Todd thinks, is akin, to shoveling smog....or, definning humor, or making flight plans, for butterflies...i think...

michael is very worried...he talks with me each night..is this WWIII? what will we do if attacked? will we survive? and on.....

they hear things at school, on tv, adults talking, and on the internet...he seems genuinely concerned..

my heart hurts for his fear and worry...

today i took three boys out..cammo'd them up and sent them on anti-terrorist operations..i swear, they hiked cross-country ten miles...and at different junctions i handed them a weapon (22) and had them fire for score while their chests heaved and their bodies shook from the exercise. they ran the fields of pennsylvania...coming home like hunting dogs at the end of the day..tired, happy, and secure in the knowledge that they are and will remain free americans.

all have eaten well and are ready for bed..
no worries tonight..just dreams of tomorrow,
with confidence.

I'm a big fan of After the Fall's Georgia Peach, myself. Oh, daddy!

No kidding the children must be scared. I woke up this morning to Rick Sanchez announcing on MSNBC that the White House has everyone on alert for a nuclear attack. As far as they're concerned, apparently it's more a matter of 'when' than of 'if'. I'm scared, too. Whether the threat is real or not, the fact that the White House is telling us it's coming up is a bit ... uh ... unnerving.

After the Fall = the name brand. Georgia Peach = their peach juice. And, oh daddy, is it ever tasty and delicious! I think it's actually a mix of peaches and pears. Whatever it is, it's soooo good, you'd think someone would've tried making it illegal by now.

I still have my "No more TMI's" cap and T-Shirt from the meltdown. Remember the meltdown? In D.C. we figured we were right on the fallout path. Or, as they say in D.C.: In case of nuclear attack or other apocalyptic emergency -- follow the nearest congressman.
Don't forget to bring plenty of bottled water ... and please, do swing by and pick me up. Indian Point is a bit too close for me to feel much by way of comfort.

See, this is one of the problems I have with "the system" as it stands -- that includes the ACLU, the justice system, and the whole shebang. We spend all kinds of time safeguarding against "what-ifs," working entirely within the framework of appearances, subjective opinions, and legal precedents -- while totally ignoring the actual problems.

Georgia Peach juice
Bottled water
Scotch
Guinness
Tang w/ Methadone

be advised; avoid sparky when at all possible..the canadian government has determined that he is a threat to landlord/occupant concerns...

and is also being investigated for theft of fish from the ottawa river.

there is a reward, but the exact amount has not yet been settled upon.

this is dead or alive, so feel free to bust a cap in his ass.
