Whatever we decide to officially call this BlunderGroup, let's pick a date and start talking about the BOOK <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/smile.gif" width=15 height=15> I've already started reading it and you can't help but laugh out loud at some of the things in there.

Picking up the book today... can't wait to get started. The only day that isn't good for me is Wednesday (though depending on the time, it could still work)... when could others do this?

*#2. Wyld, Pat, ect. This is a real good start. I remember this phase, altho somewhat blurry. THIS IS the stage where we are getting close to negotiating a date to discuss the book.

#3. Believe it or not, we did have a few books that we dedicated more than one meeting to. (the extra meeting usually did the trick). Sometimes not everyone would be 'totally' finished with the book. That's a no brainer, if everybody's at least 1/2 way there....(blame that one on Sherry...I thought it a great idea. Plus it worked)! Well we just went over the first 1/2. Not real difficult. Sometimes people wouldn't show, but it's easier just to carry on at that point.

*It really wasn't as easy as it seems keeping the book club going, but (another believe it or not in the world of Blunder) at one time, the BBC was a well oiled machine...<img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/wink.gif" width=15 height=15> I can't see why it couldn't happen twice...

It's understandable that things don't last forever. If I remember right, most people left because of life changing events (like moving, new jobs, off to colledge, ect).

But winter is here. Can't think of a better season to share some books, maybe make some new friends along the way. Who knows?

So maybe one wk. from tonight. Or 8 days, if your week is anything like mine. A few suggestions for a date. Should nail it down. I haven't had any promises, but hopefully some guest will appear....HHMM, HHMM...And I'm pretty sure they are reading, cuddled up to a wood stove right about now.

P.S. Ya gotta give me a week..lol @ Rb...I've only read 50 pages so far. I did laugh out loud a few times allready tho. Because it's an auto-biography, it's easy to put Rooney's vioce into the words rolling off the page....Great-stuff. I'm gonna personally cherrish this book.

Monday Jan 6 would be good for me--do we meet in Blat? I've never done this before! Just let me know. Tuesdays are bad for me 'cause I usually work evenings, but most other evenings are OK.

I think it wuld be great to get together the 6th maybe 8:00 eastern daylight? to chat about who's got the book. Who's finished ect. Then we could more easily plan a realistic date, that modes to everyones agenda. Just a suggestion, but it would be good to get together in Moose Crossing on the 6th.....Anyone is more than welcome.

I guess you know the book we are reading...

HI, RB.. yes I got the book... but I haven't started reading it yet... today was my Christmas dinner with my kids and grandkids... so I was really busy with getting ready for that... I read pretty fast, and I should be fine for next week... maybe a "dry run" tomorrow if people want?
