I can only hope that those whe voted Nader instead of Gore last time around see the results of their actions and support Kerry.

Cheryl, isn't changing an answer to get the result you wanted just a tad dishonest?

Hadn't thought of that on changing the answer. Good luck to Dub tho. With all the Dems putting him down, he needs someone on his side poor guy LOL...

JohnC, rest assured, those of us who voted Nader in 2000 do appreciate the continual reminders of our folly.

Personally, I don't regret the vote. The Dem establishment in 2000 needed a good slap, their arrogance toward the progressive wing was pathetic. Now, because of Nader, we had Dem candidates in 2004 who actually acknowledge the liberal base. I know some of you will never agree about Nader, and just choose to hate him, and that's your right. But I think you're missing the big picture. If we don't have people like Ralph around to keep the party honest, the party will become ever more Republican-like. And if people like Lieberman or the Blue-Dogs become the face of the Dem party, what's the point?

I'm hoping Ralph will use his air time to nail Bush, and then close ranks with Kerry at election time.

lcj--thanks! I sent the link to a friend who has always voted Republican and was planning to this time, but I've always said she can't possibly be one, based on our conversations. She took the survey, and here's what she said afterward: "That's interesting. Bush was actually below Kerry and Kusnich was first. Even Nader was above Bush." I think we just got another vote. We should all send it to all the moderates we know! As long as no one but Cheryl thinks it's a tool for changing your opinion to match the candidate you like, it might be a good campaign tool.
