I just heard some interviews of my neighbors in Lancaster Co (just across the river) on that horrible NPR station and they were talkin' how they didn't understand why anyone would suggest taking undergod out of the pledge of allegiance or why anyone would allow same sex marriage and that is why they are for reelecting that Santorem fellow as Senator. They think these "liberial" Judges are re-writing the law and we need to rid the world of filibusters and put divinely inspired judges on the bench. OK neighbors listen up:

1. Undergod was added by zealous religio-christain maniacs to a secular pledge in an attempt to distinguish US from the godless commies during the cold war. It wasn't there to begin with!

2. Marriage is an archaic civil contract concept and has nothing to do with religion except in the minds of zealots.

3. Yes there are laws on the books separating church and state!!! Nobody's rewriting laws they are upholding them and some of us want to keep it that way!!!

Don't these religious fruitcakes understand, to me, my christian neighbors are as weird, scary and incomprehendible as Osama Bin Laden and his islamic religious fruitcakes overseas.

I guess I must be scary with the things I say sometimes, But these religious wacko's are killin' people just because, and its no good. I mean standin' around tryin' to get work and just because your shiite or suny or puny or bluny someone is goin' to drive up with explosives and blow you up!

I mean, sure there are political wacko's as well! I don't deny!

but, heck I was listenin' to NPR again and they was saying this woman lost her job down in Carolina because she was cohabitating with a man out of wedlock! That is pretty scary that cohabitating out of wedlock! then this fellow from South Dakota was how that aint right, its down right unAmerican to cohabitate out of wedlock even if you are cohabitating with a member of the opposite sex(apparantly south Dakota has a cohabitation law as well). Why some states still have laws that define proper sexual practices. (I am sorry, but I admit I may have broken some of them laws during my days and perhaps that makes me unAmerican)!

Well, PS, I say if you aren't performing "proper sex" then that must mean you need to practice a lot more! And even if ya think you got it proper, ya still may have missed something, so just to be safe, practice some more. Remember, "practice makes perfect!" And, by the way, where's that dang "un-neutron bomb" when ya need it?

Advocates of "intelligent design" are pushing the board to reject a definition limiting science to natural explanations for what's observed in the world.

Wouldn't it be fun to isolate the Intelligent Design Scientists and see where their inquiry leads! Might be entertaining to see how they explain stuff by taking neutrality out of scientific observation. Pretty soon the entire universe would revolve around not only earth itself but Earth MAN, GOD'S TRULY GREAT UNIVERSAL MASTERPIECE, (and of course Woman, his second grand achievement)! But you have to isolate them Intelligent Designers with separate but equal granting and funding and "peer reviewed" journals. Boy, experimentation sure gets expensive, but you don't have to worry about any of that stem cell research though.
