If this 'conversation' was presented as true, it seems like a 'fake' to me... after all, Dubya doesn't fly on commercial airlines ... Hannity was pulling your leg!

If, on the other hand, you were mistaken about Bush being on the plane, and it was simply complaints from other airline passengers, I think that this woman's right to free speech may have been violated.

Of course there is probably far more to the story than what Hannity put on the air.

Hmmmmmmmm.... I think I'll wear my tee-shirt that says "Stop Bitching, Start a Revolution" the next time I'm flying.

"I have cousins in Iraq and other relatives going to war," Heasley told the Reno Gazette-Journal. "Here we are trying to free another country and I have to get off an airplane ... over a T-shirt. That's not freedom."

Southwest Airlines spokeswoman Marilee McInnis said several passengers complained about the shirt.

Heasley, a 32-year-old lumber saleswoman, said passengers began complaining after she and her husband, Ron, moved to the front of the cabin in Reno.

She agreed to cover the words with a sweatshirt, but when the sweatshirt slipped while she was trying to sleep, she was ordered to wear her T-shirt inside-out or leave.

She and her husband left. They arrived home in a rental car Wednesday afternoon.

McInnis said Southwest rules allow the airline to deny boarding to any passenger whose clothing is "lewd, obscene or patently offensive."

But Allen Lichtenstein, lawyer for the American Civil Liberties Union in Las Vegas, said it "might be problematic" that the airline "changed rules in the middle of a flight."

Heasley said she has been in touch with ACLU lawyers in Seattle, and wants Southwest to reimburse her for the last leg of the trip.

Seems to me that it was SouthWest Airlines, making up the rules "on the fly" (literally). Ms. Heasley apparently complied with their request that she cover the shirt.

This reminds me of the Crossgate Mall Tee-shirt incident of a couple of years ago.

I don't think that, PS, I hope it, probably against all hope. But my gut feeling is not a good one. These dorks have done nothing but taken us all back to a very dark and disturbing past.

I apologize for the misinterpretation, I must admit, however, that I hope he is so incompetant that he screws up his own intentions when it comes to this court thing and yes I think he is mis-calculating to that point. I am aware of his previous miscalculations (sure his buddies got rich but I think he really believed he wasn't gonna screw up the world as bad as he did with Iraq) and you gotta think the laws of probability stand on the side of him screwing up in a way that would be at least of some small modicum of value! You just gotta believe!!!

Ya'll might be reading too much into the Miers nomination. Bush's chief government philosophy, even moreso than his conservative ideology, is that his cronies should be rewarded, & I think that's all that's going on here.
