I always loved singing the 'Radyo' hit. There's something about it that catches me up. (Sorry to make you guys work, but it's been so long since I've been around music that the lyrics to all the stuff I used to perform are buried waaaay back in the recesses of my brain.) I'm trying to remember how it begins/ties together ... (It would all come back to me in a heartbeat if I were back in music, I'm sure, but I sure ain't there now.)

George Harrison's "Something" was always one of my favorites, too. And while we're on love song chestnuts, how about "They can't take that away from me"?

I'm reading the Stone bio right now. Man were those guys out of control. Specially Brian Jones and (later) Richards. Richards was totally smacked out for most of the 70's. Very entertaining book if you like the Stones, I recommend it.

It's called "Old Gods Almost Dead-The 40 year odyssey of the Rolling Stones". The author I believe is Stephan Davis.

**********life in a bottle**************

I was thinking about my problems
Over the yrs. they collect
It was really driving me crazy
Thinking what in the hell will come next?

So I walked past a store on the corner
With a sign on the window that read
We can bottle anything, so I stopped in to check
I told the shop owner, my problems
He quickly replied with a grin
For a small sum, you should bottle them

So I bottled up all of my problems
And I headed out of the store
But the shop keeper told me, you take them
The bottles go out of the door
I didn't really want to take them
But what else could I do?
I built a shelf in my basement
And stacked them, in pairs of two

Everything was perfect, not a nerve in my bones
Till one day the neighborhood children
Started playing with stones
A rock came thru the window, and landed on the shelf
All the bottles were broken, and the problems leaked right out!!!<img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/eek.gif" width=15 height=15>

I was sort of dissapointed, I thought everything okay
Till I woke up one morning, and realized it had to be this way

Cause you can't really bottle up problems
Altho it can be easy to do
Cause when the bottle breaks, it's no misstake
They come right back at you!!!

*1992, I got bored and wrote this poem...Somewhere, in a book, somewhere it exist...It's a collective book of poetry written by inmates....I remember signing the copywrite in Jail...One out of 300 poems usually make it...I surely was surprized. And I re-wrote it from memory...I think the original was better.?

she cried
inside
you could tell..
by just a fracture of a pained glance
or a timely sigh,
the occassional slammed fist.
she laughed
inside
just as well..
heartily,truthfully, gratefully
renewing her highs
marveling at all of this.
she knew it had to go both ways
