THe Brooklyn Cowboy was big to but that was at one of those awkward times for me. I mean I was in High School, ninth grade or so, a time when hormones can easily get the best of you and the girls all looked good and I would say stuff like "you wanna go to McDonalds at lunch?" and they would like say sure and we would go through the school parking lot and you could here stuff like Bad Company (I can't deny) or Led Zep or other cool sexual type music playing in other cars then we would get in my car and I would push in the tape and sing along to "Uncle Jeff would play the fiddle at his Colorado home and I would back him on the banjo so he didn't play alone we got five generations in a fiddle payin clan and its nice to hear a fiddle by a fiddle playin man" and before you know it I was singing "I got a feeling called the blues oh lord since my baby said goodbye" So Arlo ruined my early chidhood love life,,.hummm? Why did you do that Arlo? wasn't part of some kind of secret religious conspiracy was it?

So, PSB, are you saying that the Church should work up an abstinence program for teens--make 'em play Brooklyn Cowboy on dates--sell it to the schools, and make enough $$ to fix the roof?

I did think it was reall cool at the end of a show in Boston the fall of 94 that he turned his head around without missing a step and eyeballed me up int he front of the balcony as he was walking off stage. We both shook our heads and smiled. It lasted almost 3 seconds.
I guess it is ok for the church to still think the Lamb is going to come flying on the clouds of heaven, which I believe is the TV. Somehow though, I can't help thinking that just the truth being revealed would help this sick world.

Eh, I just see cape cod as the hook to hang the gun up on. I have one of those quarters with a minuteman over the State of Mass-caoz, and I see a pistal with a long barrel.
Oh, I wish the 277 had killed me instead of seeing a white throne that did remind me of Lincoln down in D.C.-I thought I had been judged, since i had recently left the church. In this day and age who would believe any of that though.
Oh, this is going to be a lot tougher than if I had been a little smarter with the girl who woke me up to these days I'll still call, "The beginning of an age without war and poverty.
