The toilets used on the Space station involve powwerful fans that keep things from floating in air.

And when it hits them...

How do we know for sure that life on earth was not seeded billions of years ago by the dirty diapers of ancient astronauts? I mean it may explain a great many things if it were true. :)

actually i remember it relatively well.... all things considered... in the living room of our commune in DC.... i wasn't all that interested, but a bunch of us were sitting around and some were and had the TV on... which kept me watching some...
we were in various states of consciousness, and i remember how weird it looked this puffy white outfit and helmet and long cord... bouncing along... it didn't seem real, but then nothing much did seem real those days...
remember some talk about... well one of those long discussions that go on forever with nothing much said and nothing decided about the concert someone heard about in upstate ny soon and whether we oughta go or not:)....

I was 12. my friends and I found it insane, they'd spend 1,000,000. ( cheap back then ) to go to the moon. while there were people in the world starving.... not only of foreign soils, but right here at home.

I believe in the space program, but am a firm believer, that things outta be taken care of, on our home planet, before we go wandering into space.

But the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer. Things haven't changed much since then, & I don't suppose they ever will...

The human species are good at creating new and more advanced technologies. The problem is that we are collectively not philosophically and spititually mature enough to control what we have created.......we're like a bunch of little kids playing with all these high-tech toys that are potentially very dangerous to our well-being and the well-being of the planet. We obviously can't be trusted with guns, which are relatively simple and low-tech...... :?
