Then there's the restaurant from Saturday night's incident and I really did read that there are railroad tracks that run close by that restaurant. Really weird, huh?

I'm friggin' speechless.....almost.

But it's perhaps a good example of how one can draw a conspiracy theory out of almost anything.

Let's hope that there is no need from now on to prempt any more of Cheryl's soap operas.

The truth is out there.

None of this stuff would be happening if Officer Obie were still alive. The sniper would have been arrested for littering and made to pick up his notes and Tarot cards before he ever got off a shot.

WOW!!! Last night, press conference cancelled, pan to Tacoma (the OTHER Washington), dig up somebody's backyard, pull a tree stump, notify residents of Washington DC (the first Washington) to look for a Chevy Caprice and BINGO! 2 men asleep in the car in a parking lot, all bullet fragments match (yep, they found the fragments in the tree stump)... somehow Alabama is involved (not the country music group)... 2 men arrested.

Long night, exciting and hopefully...

... the end

Cheryl had no idea what was going on until she came to ArloNet ... what else is new?

Seriously... I am thankful and hopeful that they got the right guys. It will be interesting to see what these people are about.

I am also thankful that I live in a place where this kind of activity is the exception, not the rule as it is in some other parts of the world.

funny how the murders in Alabama were being ignored, and the snipers were only caught when this was pointed out to the police. There wasn't any new information, but the case was solved very quickly once it was linked with the sniper. I wonder how many other serial killers are out there, raising their number of kills without any press coverage. Life is cheap in the big city and it is even cheaper on skid row.

It will be interesting to hear how this all plays out. Did you read about the "sniper's nest" and the hole in the trunk of the car? Have the prisoners spoken yet?

The only white truck to be involved in the whole case was the one driven by the guy who spotted them in the rest area and blocked the exit.....Yes I saw the story of the sniper rest with the folding back seat and sniper hole, I wonder if that will become a new fashion statement for "bad boy" teens.

AND WITH NJ Plates...

**Makes you wonder what 10 yrs. in the Military might do to a mans mind....????

*I'm all for gun controll!!! I think that Europe has one over on us, when it comes to marketing weapons...I could be wrong, but I believe it's much harder in France, to obtain a gun!???

***not changing the subject, but watched a neat movie, where the guy puts down his guns for the final time (not gonna shoot them anymore)...He goes out in the woods and buries them....

*I sold all mine, over a 2 yr. period...(when I decided not to shoot ever again)..It makes me wonder, who, or what might have been done with those guns over time...Like did they kill a moose or somethin???? Ya know? It makes a guy wonder?...

**Wonder what the other countries think the A. stands for.....ral....I mean besides Amerika...

*I just notice wierd stuff. Like my filling out papers for social workers. The names were all on top. I left out the middle initials. So all she had was this red pen. So I filled in the middle initials...It stuck out like a sore thumb!

Rob L. Brown
M...S. Brown
Rob.D. Brown

Looks better in red.....

And to have the most common name around makes it even more weird. My husband Mike Clark overheard some people in work talking about Mike Clark the restaurant owner where the owner of the chevy comes from. He got a little suspicious of himself till he found it wasn't him. Just the husband of another coworker.

Yeah, Pat metioned on previous tread about it being sad about the Senator dying of late. In fact it's sad when security of public figures gets that lax.

**BUT THIS SCHOOL shooting today, just proves if there were NOT guns in the home, people just would be saved, a crime of Passion (for lack of a better description of what goes thru somebodys mind, that has the capability to kill). I myself may never lose that primal instinct, but by not having fire arms on the premises, makes me 10-90 times higher of non incident! I think it's closer to 90????

***This has me thinking hard about the death penalty??? I used to be against it! I believe our Gov. Pataki bringing it back to NY state (especially with modern DNA evidence was great. It took awhile to get thinking like that)> More than ever, we need to abolish killing people, for killing people. the Punishment should fit the crime. Lock up Animals in a 6 X 9 without ANY luxeries...(Besides water & soap)....NO tobacco....Give them a lifetime to think about what they did in this one. Don't just let them fall asleep...This would be the worst punishment for Al-Ki-Da, who believe they walk into a room full of Hashish & Whores....24 hr. suicide watch....That's more punishment, to allot of people.
