I could be wrong, but I don't think most people chose a religion based on the menu. Except maybe the Pastafarians.

Southern Baptist cooking can be just as good and just as fattening (or possibly more so) as any other food on the planet!

When I delve into my Pastafarian beliefs, I like to serve my god ...... with Newman's Own Sockarooni Sauce and Parmesan cheese!

Zap,I think you Pastafarians might be closer to unlocking the secrets of the universe than many of us thought.

As has been mentioned before, many religions are close on many points and/or share common roots. Islam, Christianity and "Judyism"

share common roots.
Some more recent religions share things as well. For example, as for myself being a called and ordained minister in the church of the terminally confused, I understand that "Confusionism" is not the same as "Confucianism", but we sometimes confuse them anyway because confusion is part of our dogma.
Having also been deeply into Smartassism for a number of years now, I know it's not possible to practice Smartassism without, from time to time, falling into Dumbassism, and I have.
As Primula might tell you, many people that practice Dumbassism don't even know that are practicing it and also tend to practice Analretentism at the same time. The lines are often blurred when it comes to these things, regardless of what title one should place on a religion.

That's a great idea...now that I'm in a community where it's actually possible. I came from a small town on the Rio Grande. When I was home once, I grabbed the phonebook and had a look. The closest place I could find a Synagog was three and a half hours away. Really annoyed me. What's a person suppose to do? I did learn the military base there had services for all Faiths though. When I complained to my buddy about how awful it was that if you were Jewish in my hometown you were just out of luck. What did he say? " Well after all, there are only three Jews in Texas anyway!" He laughed...I didn't really find it that funny

He has sent me pix from their Seder meals. Really looks awesome.
I can deal with no pigs feet or catfish.....Ham would be a little harder. Potato pancakes you say?? Bring'em on!!!
