so like there was this delicate balance with the ice caps and all but the excess co2 just sort of pushed things over the edge? ...like sped up a process (methane and it's potential locked in a vault of ice) ? ices melting aggravated by the excess carbon dioxide as a thing as that over there...triggering the release of more methane (and more water vapor...?) something like that?
