I, for one, am shocked and astounded by this result! But, at least there is comfort that it is a moral danger that we must concern ourselves with!!!!

The ABC here is completely different from yours. It is one of our "thinking persons" T.V. and radio stations. I listen to it every day at work. There are local stations and a national station. They both did an interview with Arlo when he was here last June.They are seen as slightly left of centre even tho financed by the govt.(our taxes) A very informative media outlet and no advertising. We also have SBS a T.V. and radio station. Multicultural. (thats where I watch Lehrer and can see lots of foreign movies without having cable).
