The CLOSEST it got was pre-FDR. I know it is all or nothing in your world, but reality is much different.

Isn't he confusing greed with the desire to create and be successful? Einstein was not thinking of greed when he conceived relativity.

Yes, Nobel prize winning economist Milton Friedman was confused, but Heraclitis is not..

If I am a healthy 25 year old man, and every day I use my legs to walk to work, and I arrive at work on time every day, I can logically conclude that the system of walking works. Not only do I save money by not spending it on a car, but I improve my health. Now let's say, every day, someone ads a little more weight to my body. Sure I can make it to work, but eventually as the weight gets more and more burdensome, I will not be able to. Using YOUR logic Heraclitis, walking is a failed system.

I am just responding to what you say...one minute the free market is the savior the next minute it did not exist because it was the Federal Reserves fault. Like he says, you got to blame somebody!

I am saying there was never 100% free market capitalism, what is it about that you don't understand? The closer you are to 100% the better the result. The more you move away, the worse the result. Do I need to dumb it down more or are you all set now?
