Most folks who invest in their future are likely not involved in the stock market directly, and only marginally feel the impact. Those in Mutual Funds feel the hit, but in a dispersed manner... and if they're properly diversified, they feel it even less. Those putting their money in CD's didn't feel a thing. And bottom line, only those that are soon retiring should even give a care. Since this is long term savings, you can't react or worry about day-to-day market fluctuations. In the long run, if you've invested in the various markets, you've made money. Just don't count those eggs until you're ready to hatch!!
