These videos make me think of the electorate as I go to the polls this morning. I mean there is not a classical philosopher or politician who believed in democracy. This includes the founding fathers that feared portions of the electorate and what they might do or be capable of? (Hence we are a Republic so clearer heads can always prevail?) The modern, of course, is indifferent to the affects of democracy as the modern world has demonstrated a thin line, a hair’s difference, in the distribution in consciousness of those like Hasil and those like Einstein and it is not the leader so much as the phenomenon. I mean neither Hitler nor Stalin nor Strom Thurman were creators of the hatred and conditions that resulted in what happened in the 20th century, they just fulfilled their destinies in the great Passion play created by mankind that led to the decisions they made. The machinery was there (antisemiticism, czarist repressions and control and white supremacy) all backed by sound social and political arguments and religious philosophies. Of course, many of you will scoff and blow me off but the fact is we, the people, are responsible for George W. Bush, even if we didn’t vote for him, we sat by and let the society prosper that would result in his election (and we elected a Congress that sat by and watched what happened; a member of which I will vote for in less than an hour in an attempt to make a difference). So, I belong to the crowd that fear the elected, not because they are human, but because they think they possess a mask that allows them to transcend simple humanity based on their social predispositions (GW fights his crusade as he was born by God into this role..I truly believe he believes this?)

I encourage you to watch all three of the Hasil story videos as, not only are they entertaining, but they are a good reflection of mankind. It reminds me of the world I grew up in (I guess Okies share a lot with people from Boone County West Virginia). I have known a few places like the Corner Pocket in the third movement of the series. I have personally own a Hasil Adkins album and used to delight in playing it for certain people who would be shocked by it all! I also believe GW would fit right into this crowd had he been born of a different set of circumstances (as anybody would). Remember, even the President of the United States sometimes must have to stand naked!

It is Primary day and I just can not hide my euphoria!

and now, an opposing view, some now suggest that it was Darwinism and Atheism that resulted in Holocaust…I guess it takes all kinds? Remember, propaganda all is phony!

One thing I can't quite grasp with creationists/intelligent designers is if they believe that life is too complex to have come about randomly, then how do they explain how their "higher intelligence" came about being? Oh, I guess they can say that it was always here. But by their premise, wouldn't an even more-complex-than-us-earth-creatures, higher intelligence need an even more complex higher intelligence to produce it, ad infinitum?

I also believe that their use of the word "random" and its variations is a bit of a misnomer as there are certain physical laws, etc. that must be met in order for life to exist/begin (hardly random). Their use of the term "random" is almost akin to what used to be referred to as "spontaneous generation", in my opinion.

It justifies their preeminence in the universe. They are nothing without their special creator. It is tough to face the world when you realize that you may be....just human!

original post errata: Modern should read post modern and not only are we a Republic but we have the electoral college and if that does not work the Supreme Court to make sure we make the best of possible decisions. i assume after tonight Obama will be the only candidate on the D side. I presume that is the best possible out come although I think Hillary is not the low life scum so many have depicted her to be (I like her better than Bill as far as politicians go and hell, I voted for him twice for lack of a better choice). She just could not halt that runaway train without becoming the bad girl. I noticed many supporters over look their candidates indiscretions and are quick to over react to their opponents indiscretions...Its funny, it just turns out that way?
Me I really didn't care much but i am not a band wagon kind of guy!

it is funny how the media says the PA campaign between Obama and Clinton was fierce and bitter, and people here on the bench say there was dirty politics, I didn’t see it? What is wrong with me? I saw them both saying the same thing with a “I really mean it!” stamped on the end and the bitterness are these fringe political side shows…that Kingfish movie is on again this morning with Sean Penn…Now that guy could bitter politic…I don’t remember him saying stuff like I really really mean it!

What if McCain dies before the election ?

The decoding of the human genome revealed that human beings are 99.9% genetically identical ie: 1/10 of 1% accounts for all the diversity of the human race. Coincidence ? Random occurence ? Weird statistic ? Who knows. I do know this. No living person will ever prove that a higher intelligence creative force, God or whatever you want to call it, or not call it, does not exist.

Goo Goo Ga Joob

Yes, there is no significant difference between Larry and GW at a molecular level. Curious, isn't it?

Any grade school-er with a teacher who has half a brain (qualifies as a "gifted" drummer!) knows that you can't prove a negative. Hardly the basis for an argument. I will admit, though, that there is a distinct possibility that the Anti-Christ, or perhaps even several Anti-Christs, are presently residing on Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, D.C.

There's evidence that GW may be missing some genes, making him a mutant..

Not at all curious, but scary.

Since we are all made from stardust anyway, it also follows that on an atomic level, there is no significant difference between GW, a rock and a fresh steaming pile of horseshit. There may however be a significant difference on an intellectual level ,with GW taking the bronze.

So far as the theory about GW being a mutant.....perhaps that is true.
I mean he may have a power similar to Magneto in the X-Men comics and movies. Where Magneto has the power to control metal, GW seems to have the power to control assholes........by proxy of course, with Rove and Cheney taking turns with their arms up the butt of GW the sock puppet.
