I'm not going to get off into political discussions here - we all know that I differ from a lot of folks around here on my politics. Well, the "how-to's" of getting there, anyway, not the "where we'd like to end up". At least, for the most part.

But I just found out that James McMurtry has a new album out. I posted about it in the Legends forum. He definitely has a political (liberal) slant to all of his music, and the new album is something I thought people around here would enjoy, especially during the election season. So, for people who don't normally read up in that forum, I thought I would point you in that direction.

Speaking of political music-
I'm new around here and I hope
you'll excuse it if this is common knowledge
(I haven't found his name anywhere here though)
the Seattle folksinger Jim Hinde recently passed away.
If you haven't encountered his music
you've missed a real treat.
His music is fun to listen to,
his message is clear
and his sincerity is evident.
There are several vids on youtube
and of course Google will take you to his website.

This video is not available in your country.

Sooner or latter the MSM will be revolutioned by you tube and other online stuff. We could play the videos on the high def TV's in Clubs right now. I may have to look into that farther soon. A juke box that can play videos.

I've seen a jukebox in Reno that played videos back in the 80's. I think I will put my inheritance into it. But this White House would be worth twice as much in 2 years, when Bush is gone, as long as McSame doesn't get in.

They lost my vote years ago. Ever since 94 I've wanted them all to resign. If San Fran can get naming a Sewage Plant after Bush on the ballot, how long will it take for us to ask them all to resign? But that is why, if 2/3's or so of the States called for a Constitutional Convention... maybe we could.

I think that was taken a bit out of context.
