April 4th 1968 we lost a great one. Somehow, I think Dr. King is resting better these days than he may have been in the past.

Here in Alabama I can watch the children from all nations and ethnicities playing together without a hint of the world I grew up in.

I hope the universe is weird enough that he knows that. The Dream came true not for all people in all places, but in the places he dreamed.

Resting better, but knowing there is still much work to be done. Peace and love and equality are not goals of perfection; the goal is to be a part of the process, "keeping the dream alive", each of us in our own special way. MLK's grandson has been recently working in India, helping to work out differences between Muslims and Hindus through the practice and principles of non-violence.

We still haven't reached the mountain top, but we're a lot closer, and I'm sure he knows that. 8)

(Funny, I don't 'believe' in the sense that he and a lot of people do, but I still believe that he knows. It's a paradox. Or a koan. Or a miracle. Choose your culture.)

He did alot for his people. So sad he never lived to see things get better for them. I think he would've liked the new President...

Amen to that, Larry. I watched American apartheid. Some people see it as victory over race. It was a victory over segregation. Human spirit did the rest. Know your neighbors and meet with them wherever there is need. Share dreams. Share responsibilities. Share laughter above all.

We don't need angels. We like them.

Here's a new video suitable for the season. Short, meditative, peaceful good for early risers who want a moment before they drive.

I wrote and recorded the music for the University of Western Australia's virtual reality campus. Big thanks to Oz and Surak!!

Happy to do it, GM. Pass the URL around please. Spread a little peace.

The best weapons in a culture war are expressions of culture. If North Korea insists on missiles and disgruntled Americans insist on AK-47s and thinning out the neighbors, we should sing a whole lot louder.
