Close enough Gus, considering how rusty my Spanish is. That's what really struck me as the last miners were being pulled out.......the miraculous-ness of the entire ordeal, and that there is really no limit to the great things that can be accomplished when people work together for the common good.......no "us" or "them"......it's "WE," ALL OF US COOPERATING TOGETHER in the spirit of our inter-connected humanity. The Guthrie Center is an excellent example of this philosophy in action. When I look around and see the condition of our country, the fractured and dysfunctional government; the behavior of the Capitalist financial powers that rule the world of materialism that promotes and rewards everything we claim to detest.....greed, thievery, dishonesty, selfishness, no respect for the inherent worth and dignity of every human being......it's more than just class warfare that develops.....it devalues our potential as spiritual beings.....it's spiritual poison! The process of working together was every bit as important the actual rescue of the miners, just as the folks who run the Guthrie Center and their compassion and drive to make this world a better place for everyone is just as important as the actual work they do for those who they provide assistance and comfort to.

It is certainly a lesson in what can be accomplished when people pull together for something good. A brotherhood of man. (The rescue and the Guthrie Center.)

I just upped what I give the Guthrie Center to the max my employer will match.
