I found this peom. Read it, & at the end, it says where it comes from. (seems odd). Anyhow I'm thinking this lady, must be well rehearsed in 'Highway in the Wind' (from Alices). Tell me your opinion!

I just dropped by to say hello.
Now if you love me, let me go.
Thanks for the food and company,
But there's another place I need to be.

Don't grieve because I fly away,
I'll be back another day
To rest awhile and sing for you,
And maybe enjoy a meal or two.

But treasure the little time we had.
Our two worlds met for a brief hello,

RB--looked up the issue. Hadn't read it yet--so thanks for the poem. (And thanks for admitting to reading Birds and Blooms--thought I was the only one. Like the magazine, but makes feel real old that I like the magazine, ya' know?)
