Just to confirm the #'s, it was 1000 troops. Which will lead a ground defence. These are 'our' guys from all over, stationed at Drum. Another 4000 remain to take thier place.

*It's not that often my area makes the National news. It's saddens me, to think of possible casualties, but can't help swell with pride, knowing some of these guys!

we'd all take war, more seriously, RB, if we knew the people personally. It's when we "de-humnaize" the emenmy, as well as our own soldiers, that war becomes just another TV show...

Another fatality, making 2 deaths....Apparently the other guy hung on longer.? Out of the 14, 1/2 of them were lucky enough to be treated and released...I hear the other bunch is pretty beat up?

*Ya they were sittin in a mess tent eating breakfast when a bomb landed short of it's target...

** We drove by there last wk. and listening to the resumed bombing practice's, sure made me glad I'm me....I don't do bombs. But am glad somebody does....I guess....<img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/confused.gif" width=15 height=22>

Damn I was even prouder to learn they use Govt. funds to frequent strip clubs. All they do is charge good ol Uncle Sam for a lap dance. ect. When the boys from Watertown make the national news, you gotta believe they're raisen hell......I would think induction would be at an all time high??

*Licence to kill, outta include a free lap dance. NO?
