Lance just handed me a gift, the DVD. But I'd already told him the other day that Arlo asked us to boycott it. So, do I keep it and enjoy it? Or do I return it? Did Arlo's lawyers ever do anything about the broken contract with MGM?

To tell the truth, I'd just as soon return it, but hubby's feeling a little put out by all this, even tho I did tell him specifically just a few days ago about the broken contract and Arlo's request. Lance actually thought that "I" shouldn't buy it, but it would be OK if HE bought it for me! Sheesh, what kind of a boycott is that?

I haven't read nor heard anything informing me one way or the other regarding the status of the boycott since its original announcement back in early Spring of 2001. Has anybody here? A current update would be nice. No sense in having feelings of guilt, shame and doubt unnecessarily over it as if somebody's going to condemn you. It is after all, a gift offering so accept it, watch it and enjoy it.....
and then send it to me!

Enjoy the DVD, I think it is wonderful that Lance showed enough interest to go out and find it for you. I myself did not know it could be found anywhere but then I don't have a DVD either.

Terri,
I have to agree with the other thoughts here, and if my husband ever bought me anything Arlo, I'd be overjoyed!! (Even if it was the dreaded DVD) But the idea of an educational communication with MGM is a good one, too. Enjoy!

So I forwarded the e-mail to RSR & have yet to find out the outcome. Good luck ADG... <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/peace.gif" width=16 height=16>
