If I might be so bold as to offer the following advice.

A person wishing to have an e-club, such as the blunderite book club, should appoint one person to arrange meetings.

This person would decide when and where the meeting would be held and would send out e-mails the day of the meeting or the night before to each person interested.

How easy would that be?
Even when meetings were missed, all would know what was happening, when and where and P.Sunny would always know when someone would be showing up and when they wouldn't be, in fact she could via e-mail arrange the best times for everyone.

But what do I know, I have never belonged to a book club or any other club since I gave up being an escape artist.

I'm sorry nate, but your suggestions here are clearly in violation of the "Blunderite Charter" which clearly states in chapter 604 and verse "w" that "no blunderite shall have a plan or have any person or persons designated as a leader".
Your idea obviously fails both requirments.
