I was noticing announcements. It was good to hear from Dave! Just to hear from him, was indeed good. No critism intended, but Dave you shouldn't be so proud! I have a gut feeling that people here will pull thru for you. Not one dought!

You've met me enough to maybe know, I'd be anything but annonomous. BUT, annonomous is good...<img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/smile.gif" width=15 height=15>

I also have become late in my GC dues. Sorta feeling bad about that! (I miss my RBR)(screw MTV, I want my RBR). So this is just the incentive I needed to get my RBR subscription in, and with the same stone make a small contribution for the cause!!!
I have faith this will work out. Great things never come easy!

Fan of arlo.net

P.S. I hope to see you down the road.

Dave,
These Boards bring so much joy to all of us and help us share our Blunder-ness. My contribution is on its way--hope it helps.

I don't have as much to give as I would have last year, but I'm certainly kicking in something. I owe this site a lot more than I can afford to cough up right now. Just gotta wait a day or so for my check to arrive in the checking account. Oh, and I'm really glad he decided to ask.

I'm in, too...

Thank you, Dave, for making ArloNet the wonderful, blunderful place it is!

Dave, my small donation is on its way. You needn't be afraid to ask this group; I get the feeling they're the "giving" sort for a worthy cause. I am curious, however, why you aren't subsidized somewhat by the folkslinger's people. Have you thought to ask adg for a little help; after all, you're practically his "on-line publicist."

Dave, I'm glad you said something. I've wished more than once there were some way to help with arlonet; it's more important in my life than anyone but a Blunderite could know. Another site I like (but for different reasons) is refdesk.com--it is free but has a notice that they take voluntary donations to keep the site going. Makes sense to me. Anyway, I'm in!

Dave, happy to help. My little bit is on its way. If it weren't for this site, I'd be knockin' back the Prozac.

All,

Thanks so much for the support... and don't worry, I wouldn't let this place just disappear - even with no help I would find SOME way to keep it going.

I do want to say though, not to worry, things have already been taken care of. So, if you haven't sent anything yet - no need. If you have, thank you so much. The hosting service is already covered now for 2 years... any additional funds sent will probably be invested in the yearly cost of the domain name - or possibly upgrading some of the site's features.

There's a lot of improvements I'd like to make - but finding time at the moment is difficult.

Again, thank you all for your support. You'll never know how much it really is appreciated!

That is wonderful to hear! I understand about time. I don't get to spend as much time here as I used to and haven't had time to do what I'd like to the group w home, either. I hope that this year things will mellow out for all of us and we can just hang out once in a while. But in any case, it's a very good thing that ArloNet is safe for the time being and thanks to whoever or whatever took care of it.

I'm sorry I don't get to read these boards as often as I used to, so I missed Dave's plea somewhere and now I cannot even find it!

I'd love to help any way I can, money, time, helping with the HTML, anything at all to keep this site going.

And, I'm still wondering IF Arlo's doing his Spring Benefit this year at the church? I need to make travel arrangements (as well as ask for time off from classes) in order to attend.

Dave, if you need help with HTML (since by now you've said you have enough money), just let me know.

Terrie
