This is a post to post the fact I don't like discussing the War of late. It leads to differance's of oppinion, and divides peacefull folks, like everyone (just about everyone on this site)

So from now on I won't speak out about the war. Just to set the record straight, (Riot-Act) I can see out of the USA. I've been around for awhile. I was made notorious from a calague I did at 17. This little girl running naked from the aftermath of Hiroshima, caught allot of attention. I put that little girls photo (cover of Time 1974)? on that calague. The caption simply said, "Don't you think it's my turn now".

*I'm an artist of sorts. Say Jack of all trades. My I.Q. is very high. (So big deal you say) Me to. Anyone can fudge an I.Q. test. But, long story short (another words cut to the chase). I gave that calague (man my spellings bad this am) to a man that went on to really be somebody. I see him every Xmas as he visits his folks here in the Burg. He always reminds me of that calague I gave him. It's moved from here, to Italy, to France, than the Persion Gulf. It's now located down near the Finger Lakes. Tom (my friend) was last seen having his photo taken with Gen. Powell. It was on the front page of most every newspaper. He doesn't think I've done enough, but realizes everyone has limitations. HE ALWAYS reminds me of the day I gave him that calgue, and tells me I'm a genious. I'm really not a genius. Leave that to Einstein & Woody & the like.

I'm just a guy, that is proud! If you knew the obstacles I've overcome, you'd be proud too MF. Please believe this. I cant take one day at a time anymore. It's one step at a time. Try it. It works. And if that didn't make ANY sence, just don't talk to me about WAR. I lost allot of friends in Viet Namn. My cousin isn't really there anymore. He just drives his motor-cylcle around the desert, thinking of what his life could have been without that stinking war. I've lost friend in 9/11...So I guess allot of you did two. Shit happens.

But there are 2 sides, and I know which one I'm on. I'm speaking out for that little girl who ran for her life! I've listened to the song 'Hiroshima' by Todd over 10,000 times. Try it you'll like it!

In the past 2 weeks I've learned an awful lot about that "one step at a time" deal you have going on. I have the deepest respect for anyone trying to gain control over the "out-of-control" anything! This "war" has been another very painful experience for this country, and you'd have thought we'd have learned a few things in the last 30 years!!

I guess I'm just trying to say, "We're with ya!" <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/tiedye.gif" width=17 height=17>
