I understand in certain parts of Europe, camera's in public places are routine. Altho I have mixed emotions of such techniques, I also see the benefits.

Ex. If your child suddenly dissapeared or a random act of violence occurred, suspects would be at a dissatvantage. Crime (violent) could be deterred!!!

NTM: most of said countries have liberal drug laws, and prostitution legal. I can't see it hurting the innocent? One can only speculate what goes on behind closed doors!
