Amen to that! Yes I'm ashamed of what my government has been doing IN MY NAME!

We need to do more than just (each of us) vote for someone to replace Bush... we need to determine who is the best candidate and actively work toward their election. I am leaning toward either Clark or Dean. Although I like Kucinich, I don't think he could defeat Bush.

We need to make sure that as many people as possible see what's going on, and get all of THEM out to vote too!

Was at the first official Clark Meet-Up since he declared. I'd been going to small unoffical meetings for the last month, sort of to get ready for this one. Very encouraging. Well attended, despite being a little hard to find. They a pro from the NY campaign and despite what some might be spinning, everyone, including the original Draft Clark guys who started this group were eager for official direction. There are a lot of rules and laws to follow in order to be sure that you efforts help and don't hurt a national campaign for one thing.

I'd been to one Dean Meet-Up over the summer. Very different crowds - the Dean people were decidedly more upscale than the Clark supporters - but similar sentiments. No one can believe what's happened to this country. Everyone plans to vote for anyone but Bush. Everyone is supporting his or her candidate, partly out of preference but mainly because they believe that he's the one who can beat Bush.

I don't really think Bush has lost it. I think it's just that he never had it in the first place.

Ironically, Bush is blaming all his problems on the "filter" that is the news media.
