If mooses keep it up, we'll be trading them in for a national symbol or somethin??? (like instead of the Bald Eagle. OR stumble back even further. THE Buffaloe)

*seems everywhere I look, whether it's lampshades, or bed-sheets, the Moose has taken over!!! I've always been naturally attracted to that big cumbersome animal. As a teen my Dad's favorite sport was hunting for Moose in Newfoundland. He'd come home with his story's and of course 500 lbs of Moose meat. First few yrs. I wouldn't eat it! Didn't much care for venison, not gonna eat his big brother....(was my philosophy) Then I got a girlfriend, that tried, and LOVED moose meat. Naturally, I had to jump on that train. Then I found out her Dad loved it too! "Taste like venison but much more tender. Jesus Rob I don't need a knife" Ardus Davis would say. Nuthin like bonding with your girlfriends father. "oh those were the days". Sitting in Movie theater balcony's after dining on Moose!!!! (same theater I saw a glimpse of Alice in)

THEN I GOT MARRIED...To my surprize my wife sue liked moose meat. Never did understand how she could hate venison, but love moose??? Those days are over. My Dad will be 81 in March & hasn't been big game hunting in about 4 yrs now. I miss moose meat. As do my friends.

Maybe? That's why I enjoy seeing Mooses wherever I go. The Moose is more popular than Mickey Mouse at present...Never know where they show up.

for the record, as many times as I got invited to go Moose hunting, I could never take the plunge. I could never kill anything that weighs more than I do!!!! I like venison, but someone has to give it to me. When I see those lil brown eyes, I get all emotional or something. Like it's more fun to shoot them with a camera....& I hit & killed one with my car. I was mad at deer for awhile, but after I upped my insurance I got over it. Sue on the other hand, could undoughtedly murder one!!! Glad the Browns don't own guns....

* A toast to the Mooses of the world. May they live in peace. Anyone got any moose meat for trade...Let Rb know...
