...our forces invaded Iraq.

Tomorrow, I will be participating in a Peace Rally in NYC. There will be rallies in cities around the world, as there were last February when we tried to prevent this debacle. Join me in NY, in Crawford TX, in Madrid, in your home town... If you're in the NY area, let's join forces - let me know, and we can find a meeting place.

Information can be found at United for Peace and Justice . There are links to the NYC rally and many other rallies.

WOW ... what a day!

The police are saying there were 33,000 people ... I'm sure it was more like 100,000... though it should have been more.

The demonstrators came from every age group, every ethnicity... what a marvelously diverse gathering!

My friend Mick and I started out about two blocks away from the front of the rally... didn't get to see the early speakers, though we heard them through the sound system. The march went from Madison and 23, across to Sixth, up to 40th, and back over to Madison, then back to the starting point... and the front marchers just about caught the end of the march... we had to wait for the others to move out of the rally area before we could proceed. Mick and I had gradually moved forward during the march, and by the time we got back to Madison Park, we were only a few feet from the front... had a great view of the stage, and heard some great speakers...

Again... all I can really say is... WOW!
