Back after several years, but the topic seemed appropriate to share. I had a chance to see the trailer for the documentary based on Woody's 1913 Massacre. At least in part it's filmed in Calumet (four miles up the road) and covers the Italian Hall tragedy of Christmas Eve 1913.

Seemed like they're doing a fine job. Arlo, Norah, Pete S. and many others are included as well as some locals. They were soliciting feedback, so I dropped a batch to them.

For all I know you've been talking about this for months, but I thought I'd check. I was truly impressed with what I saw and can't wait for the finished product.

I'll look forward to this movie, for sure, whenever it lands here. There's lotsa anti-union folk who need an occasional reminder of what things were like before labor unions were prominent.
