I noticed a column in Sunday's Washington Post Book World about a new Woody book. Its called "Woody Guthrie: Poet of the People" and is written by Bonnie Christensen.

"Lyrically narrated biography of Woodrow Wilson Guthrie, the man who gave America "This Land is Your Land" and more than 2,500 other ballads--union songs, train whistling songs and crow complaining songs." Woodcut-style illustrations lend a period feel."

this book is published by Knopf and lists for $16.95
